How do I book a hunt?

Should you wish to book a hunt with Premier Hunts, you can either contact Joshua or Joseph Johnson directly or via email at premierhunts@icloud.com, by phone Joshua: (512) 954-8648 or Joseph: (830) 777-7536, or through direct message on social media. You may also fill out the form on our Contact Us page with your contact information and a brief message and either Joshua or Joseph will reach out to you as soon as possible.

Once the hunt is discussed and dates are in line, we always email a hunting invoice with all hunting information, cost of the hunt, etc. and is filed until the hunt is finished.

What's included in the hunt?

All of our hunts whether it's all-inclusive or you pay a daily guide fee, include meals, lodging, guiding, animal(s), skinning, and quartering.

What type of license do I need?

The license you'll need will depend on the type of animal(s) you are hunting. Whether you're a resident or non-resident, please check with your guide to confirm the type of license you need to purchase. License costs are not included in the price of our hunts. You can either purchase your license when you arrive over the counter or the Texas Parks & Wildlife Website prior to your arrival. Texas now requires you to provide a social security number for everyone including children in order to purchase a Texas hunting license. There is no age limit to hunt in Texas and hunters under the age of 16 qualify for a Texas youth license.

Do you have onsite lodging?

Yes! Our home base lodge is located between Junction and Menard, TX. We have two lodges located on the ranch which sleeps 14 people comfortably. To learn more about our onsite lodging and accommodations, learn more here.

How do I get my animal back home?

If a hunter is going to take home their animal, it is our responsibility to make sure all game is quartered up and properly put in coolers on ice and ready to be taken home (hunter provides ice and coolers). We can take your game to local processing but the hunter will be responsible for processing purchases and shipping through the processor. 

What if I have to cancel my hunt?

All deposits made with Premier Hunts are non-refundable. In the rare instance that a hunt has to be cancelled or rescheduled, we try to be fair and are more than willing to work with the hunter to reschedule their hunt within a year so their deposit is not lost.
